Muireann’s specialist craft area explores the medium of anodized alluminium. Her work combines many scientific factors with inspired imagination. She is persistently experimenting in order to further the effects of her surface texture and colour luminosity.

Muireann exploits the use of colour and pattern in her work; its achievement and its ability to provoke reaction from onlookers.

Her inspiration derives from numerous sources and is channeled into her aesthetic. Her muses include Harajuku girls, The National Museum of Ireland, Hiroshige prints, street art, popular culture, animation, Memphis Design and interesting people who pass her on the street.
